Pros

-Good pay -Some friendly coworkers -Clean office spaces, professional environment

Cons

-Afraid of innovation. Team would hire outside consultants that do a bad job and then complain about the result. Don't listen to people inside. -Extremely slow. Getting approval on using new software takes months. -Leaders don't see much benefit to changing things, even if it's better for the company, and could potentially reduce headcount. -My boss made me work 40 hours of work in unpaid overtime on the weekend because they forgot to plan better. I got a "thank you" but no mention whatsoever how I sacrificed my free time due to their negligence. Only a "this is expected" vibe. Salary employee joys. -One guy encouraged me to use a new technology to my face, but when I made a mistake with it, he got HR involved and made it my entire undoing,

Pros

Love being in a position to help elderly people get compassionate care and service, and have met many coworkers whom I adore while working for PRS.

Cons

Extreme dollops of corporate bureaucracy make an otherwise easy and rewarding job feel almost impossible at times snd needlessly frustrating.

Good people, poor leadership

Pros

Great offices, many very nice colleagues, great benefits, and generous paid time off after a few years of service. The community people seem to be great overall. There are many people who genuinely care and want to provide excellent senior services. Very loyal long term employees.

Cons

Bad communication on important issues and decisions. Unclear expectations in many areas. No vision for the future. No meaningful forward planning or follow through at the top. No accountability for mistakes made by VPs or higher. Others have to pick up the pieces. People are promoted to made-up VP or Director roles with vague job descriptions and high salaries - without even so much as an interview. Perfect opportunity to keep high-achievers underpaid and move goal posts when someone at the top felt threatened. Women seem to be second-class citizens here in many departments. Job duties will expand quickly and they put a lot of pressure on people to do multiple jobs for the same pay. New hires would be wise to negotiate pay increases immediately.
