      Pros

      Interesting people, enthusiastic and encouraging managers. For a foreigner in Beijing, the transcription work is a great idea. I was only there for a couple of months, and I'll admit not quite up to the quality required, but my line manager was always supportive.

      Cons

      Two issues - training and pay. The initial training is lacking, and clear follow-up information difficult if you do not speak Chinese well. Unless you have the skill and time to take on more than the 9-6 minimum workload, the pay if fairly low in comparison to other work a native English speaker can obtain in Beijing.

      Pros

      you will have lot of chances to work with different clients and you can learn new technologies.

      Cons

      I am not sure how you can do after you are getting older. After merge, there are lot of things not good to ex-Vanceinfo employees.

      Pros

      Various projects, mostly servicing large corporation or global organisations, giving you opportunities to show yourself and be promoted.

      Cons

      A company driven by short-term profit: No training, no support, barely no people management, no respect for people's work and crazy overtime (with ridiculous compensation) ... the only good in this organisation is probably the sales department.
