      Pros

      Pactera is a huge Chinese company that has many contracts with Microsoft. Its offices are effectively on the Microsoft campus.

      Cons

      Pactera was completing a merger when I was there, and the administrative/HR stuff was regularly botched. People are nice and well-intending but the culture clash between offshore Chinese resources and US was extreme.

      Pros

      Interesting to visit China and learn about the culture during my career with Pactera. Had some big named clients in US.

      Cons

      90% Focused on off-shoring back to China. Few jobs for US based employees.

      Pros

      Most of the people see a pros is that you are working as a contractor for Microsoft. People think that trough Pactera they can actually get to the Microsoft as a full-timers. Wrong. No one would hire you after trashy company as Pactera. I am wondering if they are still have contracts from Microsoft.

      Cons

      No benefits, Terrible HR (Chinese girls with bad english speaking skills, and no respect for you, as you are trash there). Bad Management.
