Pros
Mission is real. Affordable rent for people who actually need it, and the impact shows up in the numbers every week. Small enough that senior leaders (including the CEO) are reachable when it matters. Some of the sharpest ICs I've worked with anywhere, and they'll teach you if you show up curious. AI is being taken seriously at the working level, not just as executive slide content.
Cons
Product management is thin. No shared prioritization framework, no consistent success metrics, briefs often arrive as one-line JIRA tickets. Feedback culture leans on secondhand aggregated impressions rather than direct, sourced conversations. Written performance records don't get corrected when the underlying data disproves them.
