Pros

Working outside with likeminded people and getting to impact children’s lives

Cons

Extremely toxic senior leadership, borderline inhumane working environment with excessive hours, lack of support from leadership, nonexistent HR department that ignores complaints about abusive power

Pros

I met some life-long friends here and the shared community was unlike any other. Working here also gives you the perfect platform to hone a lot of skills such as public speaking, teamwork, patience, and grit. There's also opportunities for advancement in leadership positions.

Cons

There is really no such thing as a work-life balance. Oftentimes, I was too tired to do anything when I had time off. Also, without a car, it's tough to do the things that you want to do off of the mountain (which is about a 45 minute drive). To add on, the hours were all over the place and we were often overworked due to a short staff.

Pros

Flexible schedule, great company and awesome culture

Cons

Hourly pay is a bit lower than I’d expect but still one of the better paying employers on the mountain
