Pros

Pay check A few colleagues

Cons

Workload Stress Anxiety Unrealistic expectations No work / life balance Favouritism Rule breaking for certain people Managers getting paid in senior roles, sit on their laurels & don’t do their jobs No training & on boarding what so ever - don’t believe what they say in the interview Lies, lies & more lies Check turn over - people dropping like flies Mental health & diversity & inclusion promoted but none of this is practised Surveys sent but no action - managers just look good Quality is awful, no care what so ever…. Endless PSPs & Kaizens to fix unnecessary problems. Check job ads, have been advertising for months!! Very very toxic unhealthy place… If you value your health & mind then don’t do it!! Low pay for what the job actually is …. You will end up doing a 2/3 person job If you are lucky, you might get a decent manager I have been around 5 yrs & over this time.. nothing has improved! Getting worse with Danaher acquisition Really think before applying - ask former employees before. I wasted 6 yes of my life I will never get back again.

Pros

Business is at the top of game now with the vaccines production everywhere, products have a good competitiveness although Quality is not a strong suit. Plenty of very good people, technical knowledge, strong capabilities Global footprint and growing tremendously, one can think is the right place to be if you are ambitious.

Cons

Ridiculous amount of KPIs to drive the company, doesn't matter if what is being measured is really important, as long the ridiculous DBS templates are green you're good, no matter if the customer is shouting at your ears - we have to convince the problem is with the customer application, not Pall product, by the way. Information Management is in the middle ages, no IT strategy (still using Lotus Notes, poor choices of digitization platforms in general) Quality of products are very poor, customer complaints drain everybody's time, all the time. Firefighting company and has zero honest intention to change; don't waste your time asking for resources, they will be cut but targets will be bigger, year after year - and that's your problem to squeeze resources to the last drop of blood to meet targets. The whole environment is an invitation for burning out (if you are a serious professional), but some can survive many years in the company only with colorful power-points and good vocal skills and be scored "high performer" or even "role model". Leadership mixes up "coaching" with "bullying" - rudest senior managers I had in life, they think that strong leadership is built on aggressiveness and confrontational at the same time they preach for "diversity and inclusion". Walk the talk is a fairy tale.
