Pros

Editors are great and give great feedback/guidance. A lot of them have lived in the area for a number of years, so are quite embedded and invested in the community. This is a great gig for journalists right out of college.

Cons

Staff is overburdened and overworked. Also lots of bright ideas from leadership, with little to no follow through.
