Pay is decent. Technology is interesting and challenging. Free coffee. Free parking. Wish i had more to say here but not a lot to work with...

Cons

Management! Work life balance. Lack of 401k matching. Employees not respected or appreciated by upper management. Cubicle style working atmosphere. Not recommended for long term employment.

Pros

Strong patriarch with both informal ties and information network, strong products and product development with self sufficiency towards end-to-end materials and process. Deeply entrenched in manufacturing process control and quality, 5-S and a strong believer of both perfection towards product and technology.

Cons

Information however not equally extended to all necessary front line teams - inequality tends to occur when the company is expanding towards outside-japan sales, and is heavily dependent on front-teams for information. Top management is participative towards customers but only on superficial levels. Decisions like most Japanese culture tends to include long cohesive discussions and this may backfire in case of shorter cycles requirements.
