Decent work, HORRIBLE management, WORST management of my life
Pros
Very flexible schedule, easy position, able to be trained in all aspects of the job. Free meal with shift. Great pay for a fast food job. Andrew and Peggy are wonderful people, I loved meeting them, so the cons are in no way a reflection of them, only the management for the San Diego area.
Cons
*THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE FOR THE SAN DIEGO AREA* I moved around to multiple locations for training and the management for each one was absolutely horrible. My location manager was constantly getting too involved into employees personal lives as well as trying to give unwanted advice (ex: told an employee who was pregnant to have an ab^rtion because she "couldn't afford a child" and no I'm not exaggerating, it was reported.) Not to mention she was also racist, classist and quite a few other things. She'd been reported MULTIPLE times by many employees but nothing ever came of it. The managers would say they were going to train you to promote to lead help, they would even begin the training, but would drag it on for MONTHS. I was "in training" for over a year before I told them I was no longer interested. Mangers at each location also played favorites quite a bit, only scheduling favorited employees for shifts and scheduling others so few hours until they got fed up and quit. When I say ALL of my work horror stories come from this job, I absolutely mean it. The physical demands of this job were rough, we would be asked to stay sometimes 2-3 HOURS after closing especially on deep cleaning nights.
