Pros

There's a new fad circulating in the company that started a few years ago of attempting to make Panda Express a great place to work. Unfortunately only about half the company bought into it, causing a lot fakers (middle management and older generation employees) versus the fresh crew. This goes all the way from the bottom warehouse workers to the top VPs. People are professional and nice. A good amount of fun people work there. Very good benefits Average pay Indoor gym A lot of programs for reading, improving oneself, classes and volunteer work

Cons

Like I mentioned previously, the company believes and tries not to let anybody go/fire anyone. Problem is the older generation is not buying into the new ideas of a collaborative work environment. This causes the company to feel "fake". They believe in work/life balance, but with all the required volunteer work, reading and classes where does your personal life balance begin? Well your personal life as it really turns out is determined by Panda. A lot of crazy ideas being fed by the owners. Some people may feel this to be cult-ish and well if you don't buy into it, then there's the door.

Pros

Good pay Hours Flexible schedule Multiple locations

Cons

There was multiple things I didn't enjoy about working at panda but what made me leave was most definitely management. Man manager at the time would power trip and feel insecure in her job role if we tried improving the convince of the work flow or employee work relations. Even when we(other shift leads) would take on roles outside of our job description we would be told we had to do it in order to get a promotion which I never really wanted it was just an excuse for managers to push off their work load in order to "manage" others which I never really noticed much of in my experience. When someone tried speaking with management about these problems they retaliated with cutting hours but the kicker was when they spoke with an aco they told him he wasn't ready to be a manager since he wasn't a problem solver and lost 3 months of work due to favoritism. I have a new job where the work environment is better and having a friend who still works here and says it's the exact same I wouldn't recommend unless you are looking to kiss up to climb in this specific work area.
