Pros
There's a new fad circulating in the company that started a few years ago of attempting to make Panda Express a great place to work. Unfortunately only about half the company bought into it, causing a lot fakers (middle management and older generation employees) versus the fresh crew. This goes all the way from the bottom warehouse workers to the top VPs. People are professional and nice. A good amount of fun people work there. Cons
Like I mentioned previously, the company believes and tries not to let anybody go/fire anyone. Problem is the older generation is not buying into the new ideas of a collaborative work environment. This causes the company to feel "fake". They believe in work/life balance, but with all the required volunteer work, reading and classes where does your personal life balance begin? Well your personal life as it really turns out is determined by Panda. A lot of crazy ideas being fed by the owners. Some people may feel this to be cult-ish and well if you don't buy into it, then there's the door.
