Criticism Culture

Pros

Free employee meal, pay seems higher than other fast food companies nearby.

Cons

Everything. Especially the culture of constant criticism. They say employees need to be coachable and life long learners, but the way they "coach" feels derogatory. As a new employee (I haven't even worked there a month) I have been talked to in ways that I have never been spoken to in the workplace, all occurring when I made small mistakes that seem normal for a new hire. My managers yell at the cooks. I get reprimanded all day when I'm just trying to learn how to do this job. No one wants to help you learn, they just want you to "get it" and make you feel like not immediately "getting it" is a character flaw. This has been the worst job I have ever had and it is by no means my first job.
