Pros

Amenities and discounts are nice.

Cons

The fact that everybody start off as a temporary employee with no benefits is ridiculous. You have to basically do everything to get on the right side of and boot lick to upper management (most of which are very aloof) in order to go through the perming process which involves going to an out of pocket seminar called Landmark forum and various rigorous interviews which can take months in order to then have a final interview with the owners who then have the final say. This is the process to not only have basic employee benefits but also whenever you are being promoted. It can take up to or even more than a year. The landmark forum never goes away and you need to attend regularly as long as you work there and implement the lingo and teachings learned in your daily work life which seems like a cult.

So incompetent at the Management Level

Pros

Good values (too bad the execution/application is terrible!)

Cons

If you have a connection to the founders (either a relation or someone who is perceived to be in their good graces), you can literally get away with murder. People will tip toe around you so as to not get a bad word in with Andrew and Peggy (ohh if I could share some stories!). This creates an environment of fear where people are rewarded for how well they present themselves in front of the founders, and not based on how they treat people or the quality of their work. It's especially disgusting to see this at the highest levels of leadership, such a shame.

Work Hard and No Life Balance

Pros

Love the people I work with. Pretty decent training. Great for entry level positions or probably more senior positions.

Cons

Pay is not competitive even when pay study was conducted. They throw in your benefits as part of the pay when that is not industry standards. Career growth can be issue when your supervisor / manager doesn't commit to their words. Not great for mid level positions because your upper management makes so many excuses not to promote you when they end up hiring someone above you who is less skilled. Unjust system. Don't join marketing team, career growth is super slow.
