Pros

I worked at 2 different stores as both a cashier and line worker (food prep) during my time with the company. Both had pretty great management and teams to work with, though obviously that only counts for the locations that I worked at. You got a pretty decent employee discount on food; 50% off your order. If you closed, you could take home as many baked goods as you wanted, although that rule was changed right as I quit. Still, most managers let you take things home if you wanted. Scheduling is also very flexible, great for college students.

Cons

The work was VERY hard. I worked only part-time and ALWAYS felt like I needed a nap when I came home. This is because of how fast we had to work to keep up with all the orders, since Panera is very popular. In all honesty, I rarely felt that the amount of money I earned each hour was what I should have been earning considering the work I put in. Customers often were quite entitled and could be very rude if you got their order a tiny bit wrong.

Pros

Great coworkers , management was helpful with training & even hoped on the line during rush . Close by & had great food.

Cons

If you're not used to crowded places & moving fast paced while dealing with angry customers simultaneously , this isn't the job for .

Pros

65% discount is great. The associates are great to work with. All the veteran employees are hard workers. Seasonal menu changes are fun. Getting promoted is possible. Busy and fast paced environment.

Cons

The customers can be SO rude. Very high turnover rate. Always understaffed and always training new people just for them to quit. Management is very disrespectful. Environment is negative. Acts like training is serious but it actually isn't that good. False promises as far as portion training and promotions go.
