Pros

I was offered good training, an excellent employee discount, and a smoothly run work environment.

Cons

I had two extremely rude managers while working at Panera. This only applies to that particular location and not the franchise as a whole, of course. They are the reason I quit at point blank. Not ALL the food from our location was donated. The worst part of my experience at Panera was that sometimes we didn't have clean aprons, and the managers told me I'd have to wear a dirty one from the day before.

Pros

If you love customer interaction then Panera is the company for you. We pride ourselves on always putting our customer's needs' first.

Cons

Hours can be very inconsistent, lack of any structured hands on training and communication overall between management and hourly employees.

Pros

Scheduling flexibility, discounts; bread is donated nightly.

Cons

"Expired" food (souffles, parfaits, fruit cups, etc.) thrown out daily, rather than letting employees consume some of those items.
