Pros
It is a very easy job to get. They also train reasonably well, or at least better than most places. The other employees are normally easy to chat with and pretty cool people.
Cons
They overbook, then send you home a lot, but i imagine that varies with each franchise. They don't reward good behavior, and they'll often work you 7 hours instead of 8 so they can make you work a sixth day with under 40 hours if you are full time (or almost full time). The managers often are competitive with one another (for job advancement) so they can be really testy and nasty at times. Also they make you pay for food(50% discount), which I've never had to while working in food service industries.
