Pros

-Friendly staff -Managers will work with you if you need it (like on hours). -Easy to learn jobs, not a lot of pressure. -You can wear jeans. -Yearly raise.

Cons

-It is very stressful for a first job, but if you stick with it it gets easier. -A few associates call off frequently and will not do their work, thus you have to pick up the slack. -Managers will work you beyond the child labor laws(16 yr. Olds) if you don't say anything. -Management is disorganized(I.e. being scheduled on days off, being thrown into a new position w/o training, store always runs out of things) but they are all very kind and will help you if you need it.

Adherance to all procedures and must have everyone on board and in agreement which may be a problem.

Pros

Great management (but that varies from store to store I'm sure) Accommodating to your available hours

Cons

Some corporate BS that you have to follow - down side of working for a big firm Perks are limited - only half off a meal when you're on shift (and free coffee/pop) No pay increase over some period of time
