Good Benefits, Tickets to local events, Good pay, New Building

Cons

Work you to death, Would rather hire outside the company than promote within, Some workers move up fast only because of how much overhead likes them not based on work load at all, No actual job description so you could end up scrubbing toilets one day because hey there's no set job description for anyone

Pros

Extremely high moral standards permeate from the top down, and result in a very high quality product and an enthusiastic workforce. In my experience there was a very high level of client satisfaction. Senior management definitely made strong efforts to take care of the workforce. Project managers were very involved in (concerned with) subordinates lives and professional growth. Would still be working there if not for the housing bust.

Cons

Certain policies were inflexible and out-of-touch with the workforce. I witnessed Senior management being very vitriolic in expressing their frustration or disgust with personnel. One could bump into "fenced boundaries" in unexpected (and sometimes stupid) areas; for example, woe to you if you used too much internet bandwidth on your breaks!

- Great experience - Opportunities to grow within company - Respected firm in the engineering community - Professional environment - Good pay - Encourage continuing education - Great benefits (free medical) - 401k (100% vested after 4 years) - overtime pay

Cons

Cons are more about the engineering profession as a whole and not really about the company. Just the way it is - Fast paced environment - Stressed out project managers; Project Managers can be rude at times - Last minute tasks/duties/deadlines that require you to work overtime with no heads up - At times, unrealistic deadlines; as a result, always at work. 10-12 hour work days are a norm.
