If you find yourself in a rut working with the same technology day in and day out you might give software consulting a try. Pariveda has a range of projects that span from web design and cloud computing to machine learning and app development. Another thing that i've really enjoyed about the company is their emphasis on thought leadership. They encourage employees of all levels to join internal initiatives that can have an impact on the company's culture and future. There are also a lot of opportunities for connecting on a personal level through out the company. We have a diverse employee base with various opportunities to share what you're passionate about (rock climbing club, dnd groups, running club, minecraft server, baking club, book club, & more).

Cons

You definitely get what you are willing to put in. If you're looking for a 8-5 without other commitments you can definitely do that here, but because of the company culture you won't feel like you're getting the same experience as those around you without building a few relationships.

1) Pariveda's primary focus is on developing each individual to their maximum potential. And that focus trumps over bottom line profits. From day 1, I have had someone coaching or helping me with my growth, 2) The hires are of the highest standard. Working with some of the top talent brings out the best in you. 3) Before Pariveda, I worked at a company for 16 years and thought making the transition would be hard. But Pariveda is setup in way to get you feeling at home from day 1. 4) The financial transparency within the company is a breath of fresh air. The benefits they offer are definitely unmatched elsewhere. By taking care of the financial worries a typical employee would have, Pariveda has created a safe place for employees to enjoy the work they do.

Cons

I have not had any issues or negative things at Pariveda so far. Probably the short bench time could become a problem in longer run, but I`m positive the management has good way to handle that.

Pariveda's mission is to help people reach their fullest potential; the culture and processes support that mission. For example, there is a comprehensive framework to understand expectations at each level across different dimensions, and every employee receives a qualitative written review from their mentor every six months with constructive feedback. These reviews are QA'd by a group of mentors to improve the feedback and help the employee grow in their career. Employees are encouraged to use deliberate practices to develop competencies. This is a great place to work if you are looking to grow in your career and develop new skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Cons

As a consulting company, employees will work on a variety of projects over time and may not always have control over the location (although mostly local) and type of work. Many people enjoy the variety but it is not for everyone.
