Pros
A lot of the pros of the company center about how they are human-centered and want to invest in you as an individual -- however, in economic downturn the people no longer matter (unless you're an executive).
Cons
In economic downturn, does basically nothing to actually "walk the walk" about caring for employees. Rescinded offers for new hires and did layoffs with hardly any good faith effort to keep headcount or separate on good terms. But the execs will probably get bonuses for staying profitable this year.
