Pros

Everyone has a mentor guiding your in your career You are developed as an individual, not just as a generic employee Everyone is willing to jump in and help Promotions based on my performance not how I compare to my peers As I want to explore new areas and broaden my skillset, they work with me in order to do that

Cons

Not a place if you don't enjoy learning & change

Pros

fun culture, strong benefits, PTO donation option for coworker in need, emphasis on service leadership and giving back to the local community, you have a mentor from day one, transparency (pay, financials, etc.)

Cons

Feedback culture was hard to adjust to straight out of college since most peer reviews after a group project were a not taken seriously. It took me some time to get in the hang of it and understand the importance of giving and receiving feedback. Here, you're expected to be well rounded rather than good at one thing. It's challenging but better in the long run in my opinion.

Pros

Pariveda has been intentionally designed to encourage the growth of technical professionals. Truly lives up to its mission of fostering growth via a methodical review process and mentorship program. Working here for six years has continued to give me exposure to many interesting companies, cultures, technologies, and business problems. I cannot imagine a better way to kick start my career. Projects last anywhere from a few weeks to a year, with some anomolies lasting beyond 12 months. Not every project is great, but it is a learning culture, and projects are temporary -- that's why I went into consulting.

Cons

There is ambiguity about future projects you will be staffed on. In smaller offices (about half of the 10 offices) project staffing is much less about omptimal skill-fit than it is about availability. With that said, adaquate skill sets are usually available for a project to be successful. My observation is that management makes every effort possible to staff people on projects they will find interesting and challenging.
