      Great benefits and pay for back-office employees Generally kind and considerate colleagues

      Cons

      Leadership fails to "practice what they preach" Laid off front-line consultants during pandemic after asking them to take pay cuts so that they wouldn't have to be laid off. Leadership chose to keep back-office (e.g., office managers, on payroll and hire incoming college hires, while firing consultants who were doing billable work and bringing in revenue for the company. Many experienced employees leaving due to poor management decisions. Below market comp structure Misleading "Equity" plan in the form of an ESOP

      Pros

      Throughout the interview process and in my day to day, Pariveda’s commitment to its people is front and centre of everything! I really appreciate the focus on each person’s growth and development. Compared to my previous consulting employers, I have better work-life balance. Salary is very competitive compared to traditional big4, consulting firm. Toronto leadership team is experienced, driven and make it exciting to come to work everyday.

      Pros

      Everyone at the firm is encouraged to help others grow. The fact that there are no individual bonuses changes the dynamic within different cohorts. It also makes people more focused on the work rather than showing their own abilities to leadership.

      Cons

      The fact that the firm is smaller compared to the other big consulting companies means there are less resources available and access to research is limited. Small price to pay for a very human firm.
