1. Customers are nice 2. Managers do their best to develop our skills and keep a good environment 3. Morning shift, generally Monday - Friday, with fair rotation of 1 weekend per week 4. The company is improving and growing quickly 5. Managers listen to our feedback

Cons

1. When we are on chat channel, we have to handle 3 chats at the same time and it could be stressful 2. Ofter they offer fast service contracts to customer without being sure if there are field engineers or replacements available in that area 3. No local trainer or HR representative onsite

Pros

Exciting place to work. I thoroughly enjoy the challenges of resolving the problem for the customer. Never a dull moment there is always work to be done. Management is great. Freedom to make decisions to resolve a problem. PPT team is great to work with. PPT has proven by me, work hard and promotions will come. Three in the last 7 years. No where else have I had these opportunities. Executive communications are informative and presented very well.

Cons

All work has cons but nothing that is a concern. If I had to pick something it would be time tracking consistency across the department.

Pros

- People are mostly helpful and friendly in their own way. - The general culture is heavy on trust and supportive of family relationships, which is great for families with young ones. - Entering the company through an acquisition does not limit your growth opportunities. Managers are generally supportive of lateral moves and promotions. - Lots of room to grow for ambitious people, and that doesn't mean having to work 50-60 hour weeks. High growth opportunities need to be sought out - they won't fall into your lap like people seem to expect. - Like all companies, there are great people who work here. However, when you begin to work on a global scale, you meet people around the world and you truly see how culturally rich the Park Place environment can be.

Cons

- It's a Sales-driven organisation and resources are channeled in that direction. That's reasonable, but set your expectations accordingly. - UK employee benefits are nothing to go crazy about, especially for companies this size. In-person office attendance is the priority, with 4 days in office, and 1 day remote. - Global HR suffers from myopia and can often make decisions through a small company lens, despite Sales and Delivery management having enterprise ambitions. This means that day-to-day personnel decisions may seem very antiquated as compared to other IT service providers. - There's limited training on Park Place culture done for leaders who come in via new acquisitions. This means that they often run their teams using their old culture, resulting in disparate employee experiences in the company. - Things are constantly changing due to the innovation expected with the IT industry but also PPT's chosen expansion strategy of acquisitions. Some people may feel unsettled by this.
