      Good Place to be Very Senior

      Pros

      This is a great company to end your career at. Work isn't very challenging and most of it is sustaining

      Cons

      Not a great place if you aren't planning on staying long term or need to get lots of experience under your belt. The pace is rather slow and you won't be implementing a ton innovative designs. All the magic happens on the Instrument Engineer end and the electrical side is pretty basic "lower costs" stuff.

      Pros

      Pretty cool technology with a mix of leading edge and normal turn the crank programs. Despite a CEO change, we've been pretty stable, no significant layoffs while I've been here. Friendly co-workers and flexible work hours. We'll be moving into a new and much larger facility soon, which is sorely needed. Some tuition reimbursement options.

      Cons

      We have very little lab space to do engineering in, which means some work happens in our cubes. Too many distractions, due to frequent sustaining escalations on the production floor or supply chain. Almost no budget for travel. Slow promotion process. Compensation is low for the Boulder area.
