Pros
Truly some of the best coworkers I’ve ever had. Many brilliant and kind people work at PIH. There was a big emphasis at every level on the importance of “health comes first” and work/life balance. Even though the work can feel stressful and urgent, the vast majority of people are very understanding and respectful about the use of sick and personal time. People are very patient and kind during the onboarding process for new hires too.
Cons
I left in early 2022 so things may have gotten better. But my con is the very low salary. Burn out is very, very prevalent for lower-level employees due to the salary and workloads.
