Poor Upper Management

Pros

-Good PTO policy -Coworkers are generally nice and easy to work with.

Cons

-Way too many people in the upper management level. Many of them either don’t do anything or make poor and arrogant decisions. -Too much flip flopping in policy decisions. -Bad communication and direction from upper management. -Beginning to make poor hiring decisions as there’s a push to fill roles. -Pay is decent for Sioux Falls. Below average when compared to national averages.

Steadily becoming more "corporate"

Pros

- Your co-workers are generally nice - Very generous PTO time (20 days to start, increasing with tenure) - Flexibility with schedule as needed

Cons

- They keep hiring executives that don't improve anything. - Salaries and benefits not competitive outside Sioux Falls, despite HR's claims that they've adjusted salaries according to the market. - They chose to grow through acquisition, and the cultures of the companies haven't meshed. - Corporate and "humble, hungry, smart" goals are being weaponized to limit raises. - Some departments are backfilling positions through temporary contract workers rather than full time hires, making people question their futures. - Just an overall oppressive-feeling corporate culture.
