o There seems to be a big disconnect between the people who can get stuff done (software engineers) and the people who want to get stuff done (project managers, stakeholders). The work that comes in to the teams is terribly unorganized and not at all thought through. "Sprint 0s" tend to take longer because of this and if you are not on a strong, agile team, you will get hosed with sprints and sprints of poorly written stories.
o promotions don't seem to be a thing in the software engineering (managers will argue that they promoted a bunch of managers, but the management role appears to be a demotion in responsibility(they are using your manager as your scrum master...))
