      Drinking is allowed in management Don't have to think, they do it for you Flexible schedule

      Cons

      Run by best Friends Sometimes you get a paper check not always direct deposit Micromanaged Always call to make sure you have health insurance before going in

      Best reasons to work at PN: Good wages Some great staff Owner is nice Great location Casual environment - get to wear jeans

      Cons

      Reasons not to work at PN: Paper paychecks (on occasion) Family/Friend politics (cause lots of unnecessary drama and conflict) Culture is super negative right now (hopefully the company can turn that around) Used to have the flexibility to work from home, but not anymore Lots of empty promises. If you negotiate anything during the interview get it in writing.

      Good remote job but too many changes

      Pros

      Flexible scheduling, decent benefits, good culture. People are nice and willing to help. Equipment (laptop) provided for work.

      Cons

      Many changes in upper management constantly. Recent layoffs and restructuring all the time since they are always acquiring a new business. There's lack of upward mobility since they'll just bring in an external hire they know from a previous company. You're never sure whose gonna be laid off next so there's a lot of anxiety around job security. And the constant management changes can make it confusing on who is responsible for what. However I will say it felt like a positive trend when it came to the new managers - a welcomed adjustment. Keri really gave PatientNow more hope and better work-life balance.
