Noncompetitive and management problems

Pros

You are given the opportunity to work with many different technologies. The lower-level co-workers are often bright and good to work with.

Cons

High turn-over rate. Compensation and benefits are as low as it gets. Management never listens to knowledgeable employees, causing projects to fail. The CEO is known to curse at employees and publicly bury their contributions for all to hear. Upper management is constantly looking for ways to fire as many customer service employees as possible. Bonuses are promised but never given.

Pros

There were some members of management there that really tried to make it a good place and genuinely cared for the employees. If you work hard you do have the opportunity to learn new things and advance

Cons

For the most part the upper management could care less about the employees including making fun of them with other employees. Always a chance of losing your job because of "budget" issues. CEO was very disrespectful and was known to curse and scream at employees on a regular basis. Frequent process changes and lack of good and accurate process documentation.

Frequent Structure Changes Cause Chaos

Pros

The people are great. They are so many talented people in every department. There are people here I’d consider to be geniuses in their field, but they’re so humble you’d never know it until you saw their work. There was a new CEO recently who really seems committed to wrestling Pavlov into a more approachable place to be from the office to the culture to better work-life balance. They encourage everyone to take the time to learn. There’s no fear of knowledge gaps here. People love to hear “I don’t know” so they can sit down and learn with you.

Cons

Upper management demands the new and shiny instead of addressing the severe ongoing issues which has accrued over several years of mismanagement and chaotic directives from leadership. They need to listen more to the entire team instead of a few noticeable individuals. Oftentimes, we will be told to work on a project. We invest a lot of time into research, planning, requirements gathering, and learning new skills. Then after a few days of work, the entire project will be cancelled by upper management. This happens on a regular enough basis to have generated a saying among employees of all departments.
