-Remote -MacOS -Unlimited PTO -Lots of company freebies

Cons

The company was going IPO and cared more about not missing sprint and not even change the date for projects that make no sense. They are a company that cares about numbers, but not their people. There is no work life balance in this company. The managers have zero management skills and cannot do the job themselves. There was so many people leaving every week from the company. Beware they practice PIP for a start up which is absurd. You will not be happy working so late for this company. I never felt better leaving this company and joining somewhere else.

Pros

Culture, growth opportunities, Can only go up from here I guess

Cons

I really feel like leadership used to care about their employees, I really do. Benefits were good, pay was good, culture was good, and the work was fulfilling. Over the last year, I have noticed that new leaders are coming in that don't align with the culture. Benefits no longer align with what other companies are doing. Pay can't keep up with other organizations and inflation. Leadership is not aligned and what their teams are supposed to be doing. I feel like I was in limbo and I know everyone around me felt the same. It is truly sad the direction this company is going. Everything is about money - budgets have been stripped and prevent departments from doing what needs to be done in order to retain employees and be successful. They are about to lose a lot of really valuable employees. The CEO lets everyone tell him what to do instead of putting his foot down and implementing things that will really allow the employees to feel valued.

Decent benefits Learn to navigate a fast moving tech org Can make lateral moves quickly Invest in people development

Initially this company can feel like a dream. Be very careful to research your leadership team and tenure, turn-over, culture, climate for bringing your full self to work. Look at diversity and inclusion and ask the tough questions. This is not a safe climate for raising questions or concerns. There are repercussions for disagreeing or questioning the status quo and people who rank higher than you. VP and above dictate all decisions even when there are others within departments who are hired to own and run their respective areas of expertise. Massive decisions are made quickly with no consideration to the people within the org who will impacted the most. Since moving toward IPO, there are more reckless and fast jolts happening that are only creating a culture that is bureaucratic, siloed, absent of trust, full of fear and making people feel like robots.
