Very low pay

Pros

co-workers are nice. Most people are very helpful.

Cons

Extremely low pay for a major city, but a lot of reps live with their parents to mitigate the minimum wage. Micromanagement is a common theme. Lots of work for not a lot of reward.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for highlighting the positives of your experience, such as good pay and opportunities for growth. We’re glad to hear these aspects stood out to you. We also appreciate your comments on areas for improvement. We recognise that fast-paced environments can sometimes feel hectic, and we’re actively working to streamline processes and clarify roles to better support our teams. As we grow, we’re adapting to change and building new procedures, which can feel challenging at times but will ultimately create a stronger, more efficient environment for everyone. Thank you again for your contributions during your time with us, and we wish you success in your future career.

Worst company I've ever worked for

Pros

Some coworkers we very smart, hardworking and eager to make Pax8 successful

Cons

Leadership: This company is top heavy with too many holdover executives unfit for their roles. Too many silos and changing initiatives. Leaders have no empathy or loyalty to their teams; they will cut you in a heartbeat if it suits their needs. Strategy: No consistent strategy. Constant reorgs make it impossible for growth. This company is one of those wallflowers so eager to be profitable execs are constantly rearranging deck chairs trying to figure out what might work or covering up for bad decisions. Culture: Definitely an old-bro culture. For a company that wants to be profitable they spend way too much money unnecessarily: Huge in-person events (eg. Beyond with Snoop Dog and robot dogs) with no provable ROI and the new US HQ that has an immersion theatre and soundstage to rival that of MGM but literally nowhere to sit and do work.

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspectives although some of this was difficult to read. We’re glad to hear that you had positive experiences with your teammates at Pax8. Our people are a major part of what makes this company successful, and we’re proud of the passion and talent across our teams. We recognize that change can be challenging, and Pax8 has gone through a period of rapid growth and transformation. With growth comes evolving roles, new structures, and new priorities. These shifts are intentional and aligned to our long-term strategy to build a scalable, sustainable business that serves our partners globally. Regarding leadership, culture, and investment decisions, we are focused on building an environment that encourages innovation, collaboration, and meaningful impact. Some initiatives, whether related to our offices, events, or organizational structure, are designed to support that strategy. We consistently gather feedback through surveys, listening sessions, and direct conversations, and many recent improvements have been shaped by that input. While not every idea can be implemented immediately, feedback is a critical part of how we evolve. Thank you again for sharing your experience. We wish you continued success in your career.
