Smoke and Mirrors

Pros

Two of the owners seem invested in providing a nice workplace, one doesn't bother to get to know you unless it is worth it to him. The positive reviews on this page are VERY misleading. All you have to do is to go to sites like LinkedIn to see how many employees have come and gone in the past 2-3 years. You'll see a trend of people having left the company, anywhere from a few months to a few years, when they were able to find new jobs. Don't bother to get too close to new employees - they disappear as quickly as they appear.

Cons

Payjunction doesn't promote from within. They prefer to hire employees that previously worked together at other SB companies which doesn't make Payjunction feel any better or different than my previous job.

Sales Recruiter - great first role

Pros

- I just graduated in June and feel compelled to write this review because I am now realizing how important my Sales Recruiting experience was to my career. If you are interested in going into sales/working with people, this is a great place to start. Many "entry-level" sales roles nowadays require cold-calling experience, and I am so thankful I have that. - Chill culture, people wear casual clothing, the recruiting team consists entirely of college students - Fabulous snack kitchen and break room that are actually real and used by employees - Encouraging management if you are falling behind, they hardly ever write you up - Great work-life balance - Call reviews every pay period, feedback always - Recruiters carpool from IV

Cons

- Have to be self-motivated and okay with cold-calling
