      Pros

      Some good management Some inventive, forward looking management, with ideas on what to do, where to go, and how to get there Some great people to work alongside There are folks who can inspire you to achieve great things, and they can help you make it happen Cafe food can be good too

      Cons

      Some not that good management who just seem to keep their jobs no matter what Some not that great people to work with Pay and benefits are not that competitive It can be hard to get stuff done sometimes, even the simplest of things can require mountains to be moved In some areas of the company new layers seem to be the answer to "getting things done" Different pieces of the company work in separate buildings and despite the overall goal setting, seem to go in opposite directions much of the time

      Cons

      Impossible stats to keep No discretion in how we handle accounts and phone calls They made the stat structure almost impossible to meet just so they don't have to give out as many bonuses. PayPal was in the Top 10 best places to work in Omaha for a few years in a row. In 2011 they we not on the list.

      Opportunity if you know how to find it, company is good, tries to find good employees

      Pros

      They do focus on trying to find good talent for the non customer service positions, otherwise they are just trying to fill seats for CS - but even if you are just getting in on the CS level, you can still shift around and try other departments after 6 months, it's totally based on your own willingness to succeed. So it's not really a bad thing if you get in on the CS level, your job is what you make it there. They do respect feedback regarding management, peers and basic job requirements and work to improve their employees, CS and otherwise. Benefits are comparable to other companies and the salary can be competitive. The Chandler location has 25 cent soda machines, free coffee, tea, hot chocolate and free fresh fruit Fridays. It's a good company to work for and I have recommended it to friends, which I have not done for my prior employer.

      Cons

      Policies, programs, systems change -ALL- the time, and you're expected to be on board the second the notification comes out. So, be sure you are adaptable to change and don't get too cozy with what you know. It takes some getting used to but is much better than other companies that stagnate and don't change with the times.
