Good WLB, Stingy Comp

Business Outlook

Pros

- very very good WLB - PTO is unlimited and actually encouraged (I don't feel restricted) - work is very manageable - people are generally very nice

Cons

- Comp is subpar, really brings your motivation down - Not a politics free company - Managers are very very hit or miss - Overall pay adjustments, bonuses, etc feel extremely stingy. Clearly software engineers aren't as valued here compared to other companies - Career growth is limited, I'm going to promote by getting hired elsewhere - RSUs sinking like the titanic you're basically trading top tech company pay for a very nice WLB

Pros

Good facility, positive atmosphere, good work-life balance. Salary was good too.

Cons

Was there 6 months and had 4 supervisors. Not a good work morale when the supervision turnover is this high. The last supervisor was the most negative person I have ever encountered in my life.

Going the Way of the Dodo

Business Outlook

Pros

Excellent team dynamics, competitive health benefits and some of the best team leads in the business.

Cons

Poor treatment by VP's, layoffs, antiquated systems with horrible, outsourced global service desk that is incapable of fixing issues and complete tickets without resolution. This was the best year in PP history and across the board and annual raises of 2% or less do not come close to covering the cost of living increases and/or inflation. Plans to employ a geographical wage which means any remote employees that move to another state with lower cost of living will see their wages decreased to match the cost of living in the new state.
