Pros

If you are liked by upper management, you are given more opportunity than others no matter your skills. Even more so if you have a personal relationship with your higher ups.

Cons

Base pay. You either have to work there for a decade or change to a different comp plan in order to get a raise in base pay. The other comp is capped monthly but was better base so I took it. Harder to hit bonuses but the higher base helps

Pros

You can make a minimum income.

Cons

The "Values" are lies. There is no "integrity, partnership, accountability, respect, innovation, or service" in their culture. It is about the almighty dollar and creating a team that is not diverse, but rather, just like the manager. I have never worked in such a micro-managed, toxic environment in my career and I will never recommend Paychex to anyone. Horrible. Awful. Avoid at all costs.

Pros

The role is fully remote

Cons

Low base salary Complicated commission structure-- they literally use the most complicated Excel sheet to figure out commission (crazy for a corporate company) CRM is not managed well, bad information, disorganized. Lots of politics, you sell a deal and it gets taken away from you by tenured reps. Systems are slow, antiquated and make the job harder than it needs to be, Training was lackluster.
