The organization initially provided a solid foundation for my career. However, over time, I observed increasing biases in management, particularly in favor of those fluent in the local vernacular, which led to the exclusion of non-local employees from key discussions and opportunities.
Many team members, including myself, felt that merit and client satisfaction were often overshadowed by internal favoritism. Some supervisors appeared to prioritize personal preferences over professional standards, which was especially disappointing given their roles in enforcing workplace ethics.
Recent policy changes, including stricter dress codes, seemed reactive and disconnected from core performance metrics. While onshore teams maintained professionalism, the transition of projects to India often resulted in excessive control by local supervisors.
I once proudly recommended the company to others. However, after working onsite, it became evident that the internal dynamics could be stifling, making long-term engagement challenging for those who value transparency and equal opportunity. Cross skilled in multiple processes we hardly work.
