Pros

The culture is great and there are a lot of long term employees, which speaks volumes about the company.

Cons

The hiring process is long (1-2 months) and for outsiders it can be hard to get in the door.

Pros

Tremendous amount of flexibility depending on your direct supervisor. You can make decent money if you were decent at selling.

Cons

Very high activity quotas. You must see current clients while scheduling sales calls. However, your are told not to ask the client how things are going. You do not want to be responsible for any issues they are having, just hold out your hand and expect referrals. The product is very high priced. They instruct their reps to take advantage of specific industries/prospects and full bill them. Knowing they would eventually bounce their payroll - "just get them to run 4 payrolls" so it counts as a sale. If clients want to push their payroll into the next month, some of the word tracks given were misleading or completely false intending to intimidate or bully client into running a payroll when they weren't ready. They are one of the most "ethical companies", but that is far from what I experienced during my two years there. Operations is currently undergoing a reorganization. There have been some hiccups. Clients not getting call backs, specialists overwhelmed with accounts, lack of accountability. Once the dust settles, this issue will probably resolve itself. Product is over priced in a commodity industry. Unless you are looking for entry level sales experience and this is the only option you can get - I would look elsewhere.

Pros

Great Training. Great Benefits. Awesome Operations team.

Cons

The Riverside office is made up of a bunch of hungry wolves ready to feast on every current client and new business owner available. They position themselves as HCM company, yes they are, however they oversell the business owner all day long. Expect the product to be over priced, and their code of conduct shady. If you like to be micro managed and hounded for sales everyday then this is the place for you. You will do well here if you do not have a conscious and don't care about people.
