Pros

Remote Work Flexibility: The role allows you to work remotely, providing the freedom to work from wherever you choose. Supportive Colleagues: Most of the Implementation Consultants you interact with are nice, easy to get along with, and make the most of the remote environment.

Cons

Lower Pay: Compensation is lower compared to similar roles in the industry. Involuntary Transfers: Employees are often moved to new managers or different teams with varying implementation styles, without any choice in the matter. Poor Work-Life Balance: The workload is heavy, making it challenging to maintain a healthy work-life balance, often requiring late hours just to keep up. Disconnected Upper Management: While immediate managers are generally fine, upper management appears disconnected from the day-to-day challenges faced by Implementation Consultants. The role can become overwhelming and stressful, especially when managing client relationships. High Expectations: A significant amount of responsibility is placed on Implementation Consultants, who often have to take ownership of escalations and deal with upset clients with little intervention from upper management.
