Pros

Paycor is the first company I have worked for that actually solicits AND listens to employee feedback. I have worked at Paycor for almost four years and have completed multiple surveys asking for employee input into how they can make Paycor a better place to work. From benefits, to culture, to support/resources, to the most recent “Virtual First” approach, employee feedback was reviewed and taken into consideration when determining the best ways to move forward. Culture at Paycor is great! I understand that a fast-paced environment with a lot of change isn’t for everyone, but if it is your cup of tea, you will thrive at Paycor. They truly follow their guiding principles and you can see them in action every day. Benefits are fantastic! Great PTO policy (which was updated a few years ago after reviewing feedback provided by associates). Health, dental, vision, 401k with a very generous match, disability, etc. Fairly standard offerings for medical/dental with generous company contributions.

Cons

As previously mentioned, it is a very fast-paced environment with a lot of changes. This environment is definitely not for everybody. As with a lot of jobs the “day to day” can be very boring. But if you can visualize the end goal or where you and the company are going, it is very rewarding. There was not a lot of room for career advancement for employees in the satellite offices. However, with some recent restructuring and the new “virtual first” approach, I am very confident that more opportunities will be available in the future. I am very excited for those doors to start opening. If you work hard, play hard and dream big, you can have a very fulfilling and challenging career with Paycor.
