dead end at store leader position.

Pros

benefit hours, being away on my days off and rejecting all calls from them.

Cons

upper management is a dinosaur and really needs to get a reality check, the company is 15 years behind, no holiday pay for store leader. store leader have to work every weekend, poor raises like .13cents extra, bonus is a joke, the company wants customers to shop online by giving the better deals, then they yell at you why is ur numbers so low. manager pays is not for from Chicago minimum wage.

Pros

This is a great place to learn multi-tasking skills. While there is always plenty of work to do, none of it is difficult. I have successful stores with great team members which makes work fun. If you are fortunate enough to have a District Leader/Store Leader who empowers and encourages you and you have the drive, you will love this job.

Cons

Micromanaging of experienced Store Leaders. It is very difficult to do my immediate job ( servicing customers and coaching my team) when we are asked to get on conferance calls daily, and send in messages. There is usually only 1-2 assocates working at a time so every 30-60 minute call eats away at time we could use to drive our business.
