Pros

Casual dress code and free lunches once a month

Cons

They promise career advancement and unlimited opportunities however you either stay long enough to be put on the plan for not hitting numbers or stay long enough and hope for the advancement promised only to learn you can’t move anywhere throughout the company only to other NSS roles

Thank you for your feedback regarding the National Sales Support (NSS) role at Paylocity. Career Advancement is something that is very important to Paylocity and our leaders. We continuously strive to develop our employees, whether it be in role or in preparation for the next role. Additionally, we continue to work on offering development opportunities that are relevant to all levels within the organization. We strongly encourage our employees to take advantage of the many resources around them to discuss their career advancement, including; their manager, mentors, Learning & Development Team, or HR Business Partner. I’d love to personally have the opportunity to discuss your experience with Paylocity so that we can continue to improve our workplace. Please feel free to contact me directly at kgrimaldi@paylocity.com. Thank you.

Pros

The people you work with at Paylocity are smart, energetic, fun, and have a good sense of camaraderie. The facilities are modern and the remote options can be really nice.

Cons

They talk about offering work/life balance but I experienced none of that. Feedback about it seemed to fall on deaf ears. I like Paylocity but I like my family a lot more and this job, even while 100% remote, did not leave me any time or energy for a family or social life.

Pros

There are a lot of fun teams at Paylocity. Lots of free food days. Gym access. Decent benefits. Startup culture feel. Advancement opportunities after you put in your time.

Cons

Account Managers start at 16.00/HR and while that is a great starting wage, it is not nearly enough for the amount of work you will have to do. the people you will work with will be great, many personalities blended into one will keep you around. But you will find your bad seeds. There will be the “mean girls”, there will be cliques, there will gossip. Be approachable, but don’t get involved in the drama.
