      Pros

      Flexible, casual atmosphere and dress code, understanding about work life balance, ability to work from home occasionally in certain departments; great benefits like 401K employer match, affordable healthcare, generous vacation

      Cons

      compensation in Customer Service is not as high as it should be for the amount of responsibility that is required; the majority of managers seemingly have little to no HR training and do not address issues as they arise and/or do not have the ability to have critical conversations to develop their employees to the next level

      Pros

      Paylocity has a fun, casual atmosphere, with great people.

      Cons

      I've been with Paylocity for over a year and have transitioned from Client Services to a new role. Client Services positions are difficult--you are the face of the company and you need to be well versed in time management, be able to multi-task, as well as turn around upset customers. This can be difficult for some people to manage.

      Pros

      My department is very flexible with scheduling. We have the ability to work a couple days remotely. I also have had a ton of opportunities for growth in the two years that I have been employed here. Compensation seems on point for the industry from what I've looked at.

      Cons

      The end of the year is extremely busy and stressful. Not being able to take time off at the holidays can be a little hard. This can depend on the department though and may not be as bad for other departments.
