Pros

Because the company is not US-based, the benefits are actually decent... for a US company. Policies at Pearson favor the employee a tad more than those the usual US company.

Cons

Pearson outsources EVERYTHING, so it is very difficult to get help with anything: HR, IT, you name it... if you can't figure it out on your own, you're going to be on a wild goose chase until you find a person you can ping directly. The company is also aging POORLY. Their technology is ancient, over-complicated, rigid, and FRAGILE. Take a look at user reviews from university students on Reddit - they're APPALLINGLY bad, and the students are right.

Pros

Standard comforts of a large company. Colleagues are friendly making day-to-day pleasant.

Cons

Highly political and lots of internal empire building. CEO is from Disney media and seems distant from fully understanding an Educational Tech company. This is a typical large enterprise that moves at a slower clip.
