the people and remote work

Cons

Leadership is all ego, smiles and lip service. They don’t actually care about employees and will work you for long hours with no regard for work life balance all while promising improvements that never happen, Layoffs while the CEO is private jetting around kinda vibes.

Pros

- Salaries aren't awful - Coworkers are great - Unlimited PTO (unless that changes) - Flexible hours

Cons

- CEO only cares about his money anymore - Internal "reports" are so biased it's unreal - C levels don't bother investigating why something isn't working, just over-the-top panicky reactions to any type of wrench in the machine. Their "solutions" only create more issues. - Will restructure an entire department based on inaccurate data that did not get properly evaluated - Will lay off the majority of a department after 2 weeks of implementing a new structure, without waiting to see if it will work and with no explanation whatsoever - High performance (and loyalty) won't save you - Asks for employee input and then ignores all of it and does what they want anyway - Obvious favoritism sprinkled throughout; Kiss enough peach and you will be rewarded, even if your personality is lacking and you aren't that good at your job

Yes, there has been a great deal of change at Velocity Global - Change in how we operate, change in product focus, change from small organization to an ever growing one.
