      Velocity Global doesn't just dream big, it figures out how to turn its vision into reality. It does a great job creating a culture in which people can speak up and share ideas. More than any other place I've worked, the people here aren't territorial or defensive.. The embrace change. they welcome suggestions and feedback and actively work together to make things better. Dynamic culture. Smart people who care about their work colleagues, their customers and the community. Very committed to open and honest communication. Well positioned to be a leader in reimagining the future of work -- and making that vision, a reality. What a great place to be, especially now! Rapid growth. Velocity Global is a place where you can come in and make a difference.

      Cons

      Velocity Global is a relatively young company that is growing at a rapid pace. That's exciting and it also means that we are learning as we go so we will experience some bumps along the way as we further define how to scale in size and scope. We move at high velocity (one of our values) and expectations are high, so it won't be an easy ride, but it will be an exciting one. I could list things that we could do better. The thing is, that list will change as quickly as we do, because we are always striving to be better. Good place to be if you want to "own" your role. It's not for you if you want a static well-defined role or are change averse.

      Hyper Growth with Amazing People

      Incredibly talented, driven team and a fast-paced environment with aggressive growth goals.

      Cons

      People are at a high risk for burn out and while there’s unlimited PTO, you rarely feel like you can take time off.

      Wow, we really need to do a better job of making sure people are taking their PTO. For those who are reading this post, if you are looking for a hyper growth company, one growing at 100% YoY, then Velocity Global is for you. If you are not looking to join a company going through hyper-growth, Velocity Global may not be the best option. However, hyper-growth is usually the best environment for someone who is trying to learn a great deal in a short amount of time. Working for a high growth company you will learn in one year what it will take your friends to learn in three, working for an average, slow paced company. Working for hyper-growth company also means you will have the ability to try lots of new things. Hyper growth is driven by your innovative ideas. Things that you have always wanted to do with other companies but you were unable to, most times you will given the freedom to explore with a hyper-growth company. Lastly, working for a hyper-growth company, if the company remains fiscally responsible, usually pays dividends in form of equity. Imagine what it felt like working for Facebook, Amazon or Google during their hyper-growth phase. Can you imagine the wealth of those employees who put in the "werk" during those early days of hyper-growth?       Interesting business, excellent company

      Pros

      This is an interesting field without many other players, and Velocity Global is leading the industry. The problems we face are unique and the company trusts their employees to come up with unique solutions. The growth this company has been experiencing is truly remarkable and I'm continually impressed by leadership's ability to jump into uncharted waters. The culture and people are unique as well! I think everyone recognizes this and are working hard to maintain it as we grow. It's evident every day that people care about each other and our clients, which continually inspires me to put out my best work. I think Velocity Global's best years are yet to come and I'm looking forward to being a part of it!

      Cons

      Pay is below average, but other perks make up for it. The open-office concept can very distracting. Shuffling of office space as we repeatedly run out of room. Can be difficult to get standard office supplies. Difficult to get to know new people when we grow so rapidly. These are pretty standard small business / high growth problems, though. Leadership is committed to building a sustainable business, so I think they'll get worked out as the company grows and matures.
