Pros

For the short period of time I have been at Velocity Global, the biggest pros are directly related to the other people that work here. At every level my coworkers have been kind, supportive, informative, and interested in my success. I am well compensated and am given every opportunity to continue to grow.

Cons

As with anything, there are implications that come with change, and there is a lot of change happening at Velocity Global. While I believe that all of these changes are for the better of the business and our clients, employees must stay agile, creative, and open minded through transitions.

Pros

Velocity Global is an ideal employer for impact and growth minded individuals. The organization is customer centered and data driven to its core. The teams value exceptional customer experience along with professional growth and never settle for anything less. Some key pros to consider include: A customer centric mission intended on solving problems and making a difference in the lives of the customers and stakeholders. A purposeful set of values like "Service" for example, enabling spaces for individual and community development. Enthusiastic teams passionate about their work while fully embracing growth and welcoming new talent. Oh, and of course there are many more amazing highlights to consider including Unlimited PTO, Remote First, Upwards Mobility, and iconic Team Events to name just a few.

Cons

There is a growing need for more diversity and competitive compensation here just as there is anywhere else.

Thanks teammate. Your input and insight is very much appreciated. We hear you loud and clear, suffice it to say, we are doing everything we can from a recruiting stand point to target and recruit a diverse population of colleagues. That being said, our teams are very diverse. The next time you are on one of the all hands zoom calls, go through every frame and you will be pleasantly surprised, I know I am. We have come a long way in the last six months and we are getting better every day. Regarding pay, as a fiscally conservative company we are very disciplined when it comes to spending money. As "Owner-Employees" we are obligated to be mindful and watchful of overspending. We pay at the 50% percentile which is nothing to brag about we know, but not every small company can compete with the FANG companies. In fact, more startups companies would probably be around longer, if they spent within their means, rather than try to keep up with the Jones. That being said, we put the money into the equity package our employees receive; this is where the real money is. No one in the tech has ever gotten rich on salary, but there are plenty of millionaires who made out on the stock once these fiscally conservative companies go public like we hope to. Thanks again for all the work you do on our behalf. Global Talent Acquisition Team

Pros

There is unlimited opportunity to make a difference and help drive change. The company's goals are vast, aspirational, and inspirational, and each and every one of us is challenged to make them a reality. As a techie & a people person, this company was made for me. It's very forward thinking while still caring so much about the humans who work here and those we serve. It's rare to be on the frontier of new technology and still retain a non-wavering focus on humanity. My boss happens to be the single kindest and most compassionate human I've ever worked for. And perhaps ever met. That makes every aspect of the job just all that better. I've made more BFFs in a very short time than I would have expected. Every single time, without exception, when I come on site I develop a new, deeper relationship with a coworker. Leaving the corporate office and flying home feels like I'm leaving friends. Because I am.

Cons

Since we're a remote first company, there's not as much time as I'd love to spend time, face to face, with coworkers that I've come to care for greatly.

Wow. Great feedback. We hear you. If you are looking to work more closely with our remote teams, you should join the CoWerk World Retreats Slack Channel. We will be in Colombia in March and Spain in July. Join us. And we will continue our tireless effort to hire owner-employees everyday. Global Talent Acquisition Team
