      Pros

      Velocity Global is my Employer of Record for one of my steady freelance gigs. Pros: Very organized, reliable weekly paycheck, good communication, always responsive if I need to reach out to them about anything. Also, I like that they offer a 401K option for part-time employees.

      Cons

      Sometimes it's confusing having an Employer of Record separate from the company that I'm actually working for. It's especially confusing any time I need to have a new contract opened up for me (a process that begins in Upwork).
