      Pros

      Culture, Respect, and Customers are some of the main pillars and that shows that they are focused on the people!

      Cons

      A bit of a hike from Des Moines, but it was my choice to live there. Many live in the area and are very happy.

      Pros

      Very quality focused and emphasis on providing value for the consumer. Lack of diversity at corporate headquarters. Pay is lower compared to other engineering jobs but Pella has a superior profit sharing program.

      Cons

      Very little chance for promotion if starting there. Career advancement still tied to years with company versus performance. Nothing groundbreaking in terms of technology involved in windows or door manufacturing.

      - Company atmosphere was great! - There exists life outside of work - Pay was excellent for location of work. - Conservative business plan - awesome retirement plan

      Cons

      - Worst time to get into the home construction division - Pay was lower end of engineering scale - Layoffs started after 85 years of layoff free history
