Pros

Upper leadership is caring and understanding. Pay is above average in my experience starting out. Recently changed schedules to work only 40-45 hours on salary. No Overtime pay anymore.

Cons

Hot environment. Summer time the factory is easily 90 plus degrees. 2nd shift can cause personal issue with family/loved ones. Not really a con but operations is not for everyone, especially in leadership. A good leader can inspire and convince bad behaviors. Poor leaders can get burnt by bad employees. Emotional intelligence and great poise is needed in any operation leadership environment with difficult employees. You really supervise 40+ team members but Pella has been able to acquire more DM's to lessen the roster. IMO, more team members means more problems, stress, and coaching. It's operations so most cons applies to most operation environments. You have shift wars, people issues, staying late.
