      Treats me like family!

      Pros

      I started off in the Sales Development Program, and it really shaped my experience with Pella. I was about 2 months in during the height of the Covid pandemic, and the company treated me very well. The leadership team for sales is extremely transparent, and hard work is rewarded. Pella is a company whom I can see myself working for long term. The benefits are fantastic and as a person of color, I’ve never felt out of place!

      Cons

      To be very transparent, NA is a position where I often finding myself working 7 days a week. Work life balance is difficult, but I’m sure it will be fine once I fully adjust to this type of lifestyle.

      Pros

      Pella has a high drive and allows it's employees to work on very meaningful initiatives. It's a people focused organization that supports individuals need for growth family, and work/life balance. Pella appeciates, acknowledges, and rewards hard work.

      Cons

      Pella is lean which makes us all busy. There's no time to get it wrong and there's no time to work on things of lesser importance. There's also no time to work on something that won't get realized so we need to stay aligned. We also tend to say "YES" to everything.

      Great Place to Work, Could Offer Better Benefits

      Pros

      Flexible work schedule, Places emphasis on caring for employees, big name company with a small name feel

      Cons

      Benefits need improvement. No maternity leave. Short term disability and FMLA only. They preach being a people based company but offer nothing to allow growth for the birth of actual people, insurance required a lot of out pocket, and didn’t cover common services like chiropractic or eye care. Pay scale could be a lot more competitive for the job they ask of you.
