Pros

The best thing about working at PSU is the vacation and sick leave. With holidays, it totals a 49 (ish) days / year. Creative and smart people work here. Most international students are great to work with and are motivated to succeed.

Cons

Low pay for the job and there are high stakes for mistakes in this role. The administration does not recognize/reward that they could not have the billions (BILLIONS) of dollars come to the university without International Student Advisers keeping government regulations and advising students to do so. There is no opportunity to advance out of this role.
